This Privacy Policy explains how Fusion Media ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the HD Video Downloader mobile application and this website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service is operated by Fusion Media, based in Rourkela, Odisha, India. You can reach us at the contact details at the end of this policy.
We designed the Service to collect as little personal information as possible. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, phone number, or address to use the core download feature. We use anonymous usage data to understand how the app is used, and we show advertisements through Google AdMob. We do not sell your personal information.
Information you provide. When you paste a link to download a video, you provide that link. If you contact us through the in app support form, you may provide your name, email address, and the message you send so we can reply.
Links you submit. To process a download, the link you paste is sent to our servers, which retrieve the requested video so it can be saved to your device. We use the link only to perform the download you requested.
Anonymous usage data. The app generates a random anonymous identifier that is stored on your device and is not linked to your name or any personal account. Using this identifier, the app sends us basic usage events such as app opens, when a link is resolved, when a download starts and completes, and when an advertisement is shown. We also record a short label derived from the web address of the link you paste, for example the website name, so we can understand which sources are most commonly used. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you.
Device and technical information. When the app communicates with our servers or with advertising services, certain technical information is processed automatically, such as device type, operating system version, app version, language, and an approximate region inferred from your internet address.
Advertising identifiers. Our advertising provider, Google AdMob, may access your device advertising identifier and similar information to serve and measure ads, as described below.
Push notification token. If you allow notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging assigns a token used to deliver messages to your device. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
The Service is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. Google may use device identifiers and usage information to show ads, including personalized ads where permitted, and to measure their performance. You can manage or reset your advertising identifier and opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings, usually under Google, then Ads. We use our own lightweight analytics, described above, rather than a third party analytics product inside the app. The anonymous events are stored on our servers as aggregated counts so we can see overall trends such as total installs and how often downloads complete.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
We keep anonymous usage data only for as long as it is useful for understanding trends and operating the Service. Support messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request. Videos you download are stored on your own device, not on our servers, and you can delete them at any time.
The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
We operate from India, and our service providers, including Google, may process data in other countries. By using the Service you understand that your information may be processed in countries with data protection laws different from those in your own country.
The videos you choose to download come from third party sources that you select. We do not control those sources and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. This policy applies only to the Service.
This app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any social media platform or content provider. All trademarks and brand names belong to their respective owners.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date shown at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be communicated within the app. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
